Stonegate Group was founded in 1994 by Erez Gil, starting as a pioneer in environmental and energy infrastructure. The group built major national facilities in Israel and abroad, tackled some of the world’s toughest environmental challenges, and established leading companies in the sector.
Expanding into real estate in Israel and the U.S., Stonegate created top-performing companies and landmark projects. Around 15 years ago, the group entered the high-tech sector, founding Future Gate — one of the world’s first venture capital funds focused on environmental, energy, and climate technologie

1995
Founding of Ecosol & Minex – Leaders in hazardous waste management and metal recycling
Pioneers in Environmental Infrastructure & Renewable Energy – Stonegate was the first to operate in Israel in these fields.
